Join Katie Pasquini Masopust as she combines her love of art and Log Cabin quilts in this creative class! First, she will guide you as you select an inspiration photo or painting. These Log Cabin designs can be made in square, diagonal, or wonky formats, giving a distinctive look to your project. Gathering the fabrics can be so much fun, and adding specialty fabrics is a great way to add some shimmer and shine. Cutting strips and doing simple, straight-line stitching moves along quickly, so in no time at all, this quilt top will be constructed and ready to quilt! Katie shows lots of quilts done in this approach, which provides ideas and additional inspiration. All the while, learn about composition and color value from one of the finest instructors in the industry. This is a wonderfully enjoyable class for beginners or experienced quilters alike.

Thank you so much for offering this class on iquilt! I had read the course description you provided for the class in Paducah, and wished I could have taken the class then. But your virtual class was just what I needed. I love the effect and plan to use the technique again. The instructions were simple and easy to follow, and the extra "tips" in lesson 7 were a great addition to help spark inte

Excellent! A few years ago I was impressed with the teaching manner and information I received as a student in Katie's Color Theory workshop. This log cabin video is every bit as good as actually taking a workshop with one added benefit, being able to watch the class as much as I want.

I saw Katie at Quilting in the Desert this spring. I was not in her class but was impressed with Artful Log Cabin when she spoke at meet the teacher night. I immediately came home and signed up for the class. I have enjoyed this class. There is something freeing about not worrying if all the seams are perfect because they can be trimmed to a perfect square at the end! Thanks for a great expe

KatiePM does it again!!! I love the log cabin block, but not the repetitive sewing of the same block over and over. With Katie's Artful Logcabin Class, you get the delight of the block with a fun and different end product!!! This class is worth your time!
