Hand Stitching Supplies (if choosing to appliqué by hand):

WOW!! Great class, I love all the great tips and techniques. I can't wait to make this pattern and start enjoying hand applique. I usually applique by machine.
    Becky is a great teacher.
  2. Jane Ratcliff

I enjoyed the class and picked up some lovely tips; however I am not fond of using the glue baste. I found it to dry quite hard which made it difficult to hand sew the pieces in place. The sharp points on the petals and leaves get very difficult to handle due to the buildup of both fabric and glue.
The class felt more like an over view or a mini-class rather than a fully instructional course.

I do wish I could see the comments and questions from others watching the course. This is a downside of IQuilt - not the course or instructor.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. I had learned a technique similar to Becky's but it didn't have the trapunto aspect and I really, really liked her finishing ideas.
I can see me using these finishing techniques on lots of other projects-even hotpads! Slhe is a great teacher and explains things clearly. I especially liked her showing the machine applique aspects as I have both rheumatoid and os

teoarthritis in my hands and can no longer do hand applique for more than a few stitches.
I would definitely consider another class with her.

I recently watched Becky Campbell's iquilt class, Innovative Appliqué, and decided to give the project a try. While mine is not nearly as spectacular as hers is, I really enjoyed the class. She give very helpful tips and techniques for making appliqué easier and more enjoyable. I don't know about yal, but appliqué has always kind of intimidated me. Becky's class made me feel more confident in m

y own ability to do this.

I thoroughly enjoyed Becky's Innovative Appliqué class. She presents her fresh approach to appliqué with such detail and enthusiasm that I can't wait to try it. Appliqué has always been a bit daunting to me and I have renewed hope in my future success. I also appreciated her sharing the extra hints and tips she included in each lesson. I will continue to grow as a quilter on the experiences

    she shares.
